Rapid Prototyping on the TU Delft Campus

Calculating the cost of a 3D print shouldn’t be ridiculously difficult. In order to reduce headaches, I use a two-factor pricing scheme: (1) Footprint; (2) Height.

know your price before you even start drawing if you know the bounding box volume of your print job (multiple printable models are indeed accepted in 1 file)

The larger the footprint, the less you pay per volume unit.

One color printing:

SMALL
Footprint fits 10x10cm (10000mm2)

MEDIUM
Footprint fits 20x20cm (40000mm2)

LARGE
Footprint fits 30x30cm (90000mm2)

Two color printing:

SMALL
Footprint fits 10x10cm
(10000mm2)

MEDIUM

(40000mm2)

LARGE
Footprint fits 30x30cm
